PwC announces new leadership for Belarus firm
PwC, world’s largest professional services network has appointed Juris Lapshe as the new Country Managing Partner for Belarus firm.
Juris Lapshe started his PwC career in 1993 in Latvia which at that time was s start-up practice. His career with PwC also brought him to London where he worked in Insurance and Investment Management division. He became a partner in 2002 and led the Assurance and Advisory department of PwC Latvia for 6 years. In 2009 Juris moved to PwC Russia, where he was the Insurance industry leader and lead audit partner on a number of insurance company audits. Currently he is Engagement partner or Quality review partner in audit engagements in Belarus, Russia, Georgia, Ukraine and Mongolia. He is also PwC CEE Regional Independence Leader and a member of PwC Global Independence Leadership Team as well as the PwC CEE Assurance Chief Quality Officer. During his career with PwC he has led a large number of audit and consulting projects to clients across various industries.

Andrej Kosiakov will continue leading our Assurance Practice in Belarus and will be responsible for day-to-day office management.
Andrej Kosiakov has 18 years’ experience in leading audit, transaction and IFRS transition services. Andrej has extensive international experience. After starting his professional career in PwC Lithuania, he was engaged in establishing and developing the local audit practice in PwC Serbia and spent two years in the London Capital Markets Group of PwC UK.
He is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Sergei Odintsov will take over as Tax and Legal Services Leader for Belarus.
Sergei Odintsov has been providing tax and legal services for more than 11 years. Sergei’s client portfolio includes numerous local and international clients from the US, EU, CEE, Middle East and Asia. He has extensive experience in such sectors as retail and consumer, packaging, oil and gas, industrial manufacturing, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, energy, engineering and construction, information technology and others. He specialises in business establishment and M&A projects, transaction support, corporate and international taxation, tax and legal due diligence, tax and legal reviews, indirect tax and customs, tax optimization and tax structuring. Sergei is a registered tax and legal advisor in Belarus.
